Film – Philip Bloom

As straightforward as I can be, Philip Bloom is an excellent filmmaker who knows the in and out of the filmmaking world, photography world, and blogging world. How often do you find someone whose work is perfection in everyway? I as a filmmaker look up to his work. Philip Bloom knows exactly how to tell a story and how to use the newest technology in a way that is beautiful.

Bloom’s style with the DSLR cameras is amazing. He has truly the ability use composition, depth of field, and color to brilliantly explain the world around us in his films and documentaries. The world of DSLR filmmaking is new and yet Bloom’s experience in this realm seems to far pass the years that the DSLR HD Camera has been around.

You can see in his work below that he isn’t just a simple storyteller but a complicated one with details in every shot that can be read into and found in the stories themselves. Bloom is a filmmaker who is to be looked up too and studied. We found Philip Bloom from our old site and had to ‘update’ his review. We found him originally through a friend, Jon Chema, and then followed him on Twitter.
